The aftermath
My deskToday we had our Thanksgiving feast at work. I fixed a 10# bag of mashed potatoes...the bowl is empty. Just when I was boiling the potatoes and we had to go to a mandatory meeting. Our company is "adjusting" itself to the downturn. That includes some people being let go and some future reductions. Engineering is safe for now but next year doesn't look good for the company or anyone in the manufacturing world right now. So our bellies are full, not much work got done this afternoon as you can tell from the picture of my desk but we are doing ok, I am Thankful.
